ECCTA Tennis Club Reservation Rules

Effective for PlayByPoint System Users

To ensure fair and efficient use of the ECCTA tennis courts, all members and participants must adhere to the following reservation rules when using the PlayByPoint system:

General Rules

1. Active Membership:
2. Only active ECCTA members or approved participants may make reservations through PlayByPoint.

• Advance Reservations:Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance.
• Same-day reservations are permitted if courts are available.
• Reservation Limits:A maximum of 4 hours per reservation per day per member.
• Members may hold only one active reservation at a time. Additional reservations can be made after the existing reservation is completed.
• Guest Policy:Guests must be accompanied by an ECCTA member.
• Guest fees (if applicable) must be paid through PlayByPoint at the time of booking.
• Guests are limited to 3 visits per month.

Court Usage

• Check-In:Participants must check in on PlayByPoint or notify ECCTA staff upon arrival.
• Failure to check in within 15 minutes of the reservation start time may result in forfeiture of the court.
• Court Availability:Courts are reserved exclusively for tennis play during booked times.
• Courts left unused for more than 15 minutes will be released for walk-in use or reassignment.
• Shared Courts:During peak hours, doubles matches are encouraged to maximize court usage.
• Singles play may be limited to 1-hour sessions during high-demand periods.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Cancellation Policy:Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance through the PlayByPoint system to receive a full refund or credit.
• Late cancellations may result in a penalty fee or loss of booking privileges.
• No-Show Policy:No-shows will result in a $10 fee charged to the account.
• Repeated no-shows (3 or more within a 30-day period) may result in a suspension of reservation privileges.

Payments & Fees

• Payment:All court fees, if applicable, must be paid at the time of booking through the PlayByPoint system.
• Unpaid reservations are subject to cancellation.
• Refunds:Refunds are issued only for cancellations made in accordance with the policy.
• Refunds will not be granted for inclement weather unless courts are deemed unplayable by ECCTA staff.

Code of Conduct

• Behavior Expectations:All participants must adhere to the ECCTA Code of Conduct, ensuring respectful and sportsmanlike behavior.
• Disruptive, abusive, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in reservation suspension or removal from the club.
• Facility Care:Members and guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the courts and surrounding facilities.
• Any damage to property must be reported immediately to ECCTA staff.

System Usage Assistance

• Technical Support:For issues with PlayByPoint reservations, users must contact PlayByPoint support directly.
• ECCTA staff will assist with system navigation or policy clarification but cannot resolve platform-specific issues.
• Rule Updates:ECCTA reserves the right to update these rules at any time. Changes will be communicated to members via email and posted on PlayByPoint.

By booking through PlayByPoint, users acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules. Failure to comply may result in restricted access to courts and reservation privileges.
